About the Event
In this class Zalika designs creative, dynamic, and safe sequences that consist of classic and attainable postures. Then, she gradually builds up toward more challenging and advanced poses, while providing options for modifications along the way.
Through these classes we will focus on improving mobility, endurance, strength, and balance. There is also incorporated guided meditation and breathing exercises to help students turn their practice inwards and develop body awareness.
To complement the active practice, Zalika will also teach a restorative practice as they have a greater emphasis on relaxation and flexibility.
Whether you are new to Yoga, or have been practicing for a long time, you will enjoy the slow flow of this class to help you breathe deep, feel relaxed and stretch smoothly! The smooth flow of this class along with focused breathing helps you practice staying in the moment and letting go of past regrets and future worries.
We will open up with breathing exercises, show our joints some love then work our way thru the flow of the day. After reaching the peak pose we will cool down with breathing exercises with or with out your choice of elevation.
At the end you will leave feeling uplifted in more ways than one. See you there!
