About the Role

The Field Marketing Coordinator will be hired by Cann and report into the Director of Field Marketing Lisa Levine. The Field Marketing Coordinator oversees local tent pole activations within the market, enhanced merchandising opportunities, elevated retail partnership events, community events, and in-store PADs. They will work closely with their sales counterparts to ensure field marketing efforts are supporting our top tier retail partners. The FMC will find and execute local events that will drive brand awareness and trial, create a memorable experience with customers, and educate locals on how/where they can purchase Cann.


The Field Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing the following tasks including but not limited to:

What you’ll do:

  • Execute the local field marketing strategy, engaging the brand ambassador team on a local level, managing the regional budget, producing local community-building events, supporting dispensary events, working with local influencers, scheduling and staffing product demos, all to increase our overarching regional sales volume and velocity goals

  • Work closely with local sales team to maximize brand awareness and increase velocity (Rate of Sale) at local accounts

  • Identify, develop, and establish relationships with local and relevant brand partners in each respective market to drive brand awareness and support digital reach goals

  • Build consumer awareness, drive trial, and growth of Cann in respective market through experiential brand activations and events including but not limited to community events, curated branded events, festivals, and in-store tastings

  • Manage team of brand ambassadors, assets, and storage unit

  • Ensure all recap forms are being completed and turned in on deadline

  • Establish a network of local partners to help support regional marketing and sales goals

  • Strive to meet KPIs in the following categories: samples distributed, PADs executed, budtender support, dispensary event collaborations, community events, dispensary checks, sales numbers tied to activations, and emails captured.

Who you are:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application

  • Must live in local regions territory

  • Must have a reliable source of transportation to travel within assigned territory

  • Minimum of three years experience in field marketing preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years experience leading & developing a high-performance team required

  • Weekday, evening, holiday, and weekend availability required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Able to problem-solve and generate solutions through stressful situations

  • Highly organized and strong ability to multitask

  • Proven ability to lead, close performance gaps, and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced startup environment
