Help Support Tembra Campbell & Her Family

For more than 30 years, Tembra Campbell has shown up for her community.

She has been part of California's cannabis community since the Proposition 215 days, supporting patients, building relationships, and helping people long before there was an industry as we know it today.

Now, my friend Tembra needs her community to show up for her.

Tembra's partner of 13 years, Brian, recently suffered a devastating accident and remains in critical condition at UC Davis. Their lives changed overnight.

Brian was the sole breadwinner for their household, and Tembra is also a caregiver for her mother. While she stays by Brian's side and they begin facing an uncertain future, the everyday expenses of life haven't stopped—rent, utilities, groceries, gas, and the added costs of traveling back and forth to the hospital.

Six Months of Work Changed in a Single Day

The timing makes an already heartbreaking situation even harder.

Tembra had spent the last six months working on sponsorship sales for Reggae on the River, while also helping create the children's area at the festival.

Creating safe, joyful spaces for children has long been important to Tembra. She has even brought that passion into children's music and has collaborated with award-winning children's artist Mista Cookie Jar.

The day of Reggae on the River—the moment when she should have finally been able to see the results of everything she'd worked toward—this tragedy occurred.

She never got to experience the fruits of those six months of work.

Instead, everything became about Brian, her family, and getting through one day at a time.

How You Can Help Tembra and Brian

A GoFundMe has been created for Tembra and Brian to help cover their immediate living expenses, including housing, utilities, groceries, transportation to UC Davis, hospital-related expenses, caregiving needs, and the costs that may come as they determine what Brian's long-term care will require.

If you can donate, please do.

You don't have to have extra money to make a difference.

If you're local, consider dropping off a meal, groceries, or a gas or grocery gift card.

If donating isn't possible, share their GoFundMe. One share can put their story in front of someone who has the resources or connections to help.

And there's another important way our community can support Tembra.

Tembra Is Looking for Work!!

Tembra needs to begin creating financial stability for herself and her family while navigating everything happening with Brian.

She brings decades of experience in sales, sponsorships, customer service, relationship building, and community engagement. Most recently, she spent six months focused on sponsorship sales for Reggae on the River.

She's a connector, a hard worker, and someone who will do whatever she can for the people she loves.

If you're hiring—or know someone who is—please consider Tembra.

A job lead, contract opportunity, freelance project, or simple introduction could make an enormous difference right now.

No single person has to solve everything. If enough of us each do something, we can help give Tembra a little breathing room while she focuses on Brian and figures out what comes next.
